Bloomberg Square Mile Relay Opens For Entries
The Bloomberg Square Mile Relay 2014, which will see London’s fiercely competitive professionals swap their suits for tracksuits and form teams of ten to tackle the City’s streets, will be held on September 4th, with the strongest line-up of partners in the event’s history providing unique backing for the participants.
More than 1,000 runners will once again take up their team batons and negotiate alleyways, tackle staircases and race through shopping arcades as they attempt to prove themselves as the fastest team from the world’s most competitive square mile. Team entries are now open at www.squaremilerelay.com and for a limited time only teams can take advantage of an early-bird discount rate.
They will also be some of the first to get their hands on all-new wearable sports technology from Epson, the Official Technology Partner of the race. The first 50 captains to register for the race will receive the brand’s new GPS sports monitor, part of a range of products it will launch in September designed to help people improve their health and fitness.
Teams can prepare for the race in style wearing running gear from Karrimor, once again the Official Sportswear Partner of the Bloomberg Square Mile Relay, and by training at Virgin Active, the race’s Official Health Club Partner. Furthermore, they can look forward to extensive coverage, competitions and training tips in Sport, the Official Media Partner of the event.
More than 100 teams will be competing for prizes, the coveted trophy and a £5,000 cheque for the charity of their choice.
