Bacardi UK and Pringle of Scotland have signed up as the latest sponsors of the 2012 BNP Paribas Tennis Classic at the Hurlingham Club, which gets underway this week.
IMG reached an agreement with both brands to join the tennis tournament, ahead of Wimbledon.
Bacardi UK and Pringle of Scotland are the latest brands to add their name to the tournament, now in its 19th year, and courtside branding will feature Bacardi’s Champions Drink Responsibly campaign featuring Rafael Nadal.
Amongst the benefits for Bacardi UK, are an on-site branded bar serving Bacardi non-alcoholic cocktails to guests, whilst Pringle of Scotland will also have an on-site pop-up shop, as well as clothing for all on-court and off-court staff.
The two newest partners join the Telegraph Media Group, Adamina Spa and Jury’s Inn as first-time supporters of the event this year.
Charlie Grave, managing director of sponsorship, IMG, said: ‘We are delighted to welcome both Bacardi UK and Pringle of Scotland as sponsors of the 2012 BNP Paribas Tennis Classic at Hurlingham. It is to the tournament’s great credit that we continue to attract the high calibre of such brands and companies, and we look forward to this year’s event being a great success for all concerned.’
Among the players due to take part later in the competition running 19th to 23rd June, are Andy Roddick, Lleyton Hewitt, Jo Wilfried-Tsonga and Thomas Berdych, who returns to Hurlingham for the third successive year.
