The Boat Race Partners With Adnams
The Boat Race Company Limited has announced a new partnership with UK brewer Adnams Southwold.
As part of the deal, Adnams will become the official beer partner of The BNY Mellon Boat Races for the next six years.
Adnams beer, brewed in Southwold since 1872, will see the 162nd race between Oxford and Cambridge University taking place along the River Thames in 2016.
Andy Wood CEO at Adnams, said: “Adnams is delighted to become the official beer partner of The BNY Mellon Boat Races. The Races are a firm favourite on the calendar and in many ways signifies the first big day out in London after the winter. We look forward to working with the boat races for the next few years and are proud to associate Adnams with this national and internationally famous event.”

The BNY Mellon Boat Races will next take place on Sunday 27th March 2016. The Newton Women’s Boat Race will begin at 3.10pm, with The BNY Mellon Boat Race starting at 4.10pm.
