Six-time Grand Slam winner Boris Becker has signed with Doyen, and will partner with the new global agency across a number of significant areas including developing the company’s presence in tennis.

‘Throughout my career I have always made sure I had the right team working with me to help me achieve my best,’ said Becker. ‘The team at Doyen have worked with some of the very top talent globally and we will both mutually benefit from working closely together.’

Simon Oliveira, Managing Director of Doyen Global, added: ‘In Boris we have someone who was not only one of the most decorated and charismatic players in the game, he is also an astute and successful entrepreneur. He will be an incredible asset to our business and we are honoured to be working with him.’

Doyen Global was set up in April of this year by Oliveira and Matthew Kay, two former senior executives from XIX Entertainment and Creative Artist Agency. In one of their first moves they announced a long term exclusive image rights agreement with Brazilian and Barcelona sensation, Neymar Jnr.

Becker, one of the greatest players to have ever played tennis, became the youngest ever Wimbledon Champion at just 17. He went on to win two further Wimbledon Championships, two Australian Open Titles, a US Open, three ATP Tour Finals and an Olympic Gold Medal. Becker continues to be a formidable force post retirement, as a successful businessman, ambassador and sports commentator.
