Braben Picks Up Ur7s Account

Specialist sports PR agency Braben has picked up another client after winning a retained contract to provide strategic corporate and consumer PR services to the Ultimate Rugby Sevens (UR7s).

Rugby Sevens, awarded Olympic status by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) three weeks ago in Copenhagen, is expected to experience increasing growth over the next few years in the build-up to its debut at Rio 2016.

Ultimate Rugby Sevens will continue working alongside the International Rugby Board (IRB) and other stakeholders to lead the development of the sport globally.

Having worked with Braben ahead of the IOC announcement, UR7s managing director Tim Lacey has made the decision to hire the agency on a full retainer to help develop the company’s progression.
