Premier League football club Brentford FC has partnered with Ticketmaster.
The US ticket sales and distribution company will provide Brentford with ticketing technology from the start of the 2023/2024 campaign.
Brentford claims that Ticketmaster’s ‘ticket exchange’ technology was a key deciding factor in the club choosing Ticketmaster’s solutions, allowing seats in the club’s 17,250-capacity Gtech Community Stadium to be filled more easily.
Jon Varney, Brentford Chief Executive, said, “We are very pleased to be partnering with Ticketmaster Sport from the summer of 2023 who will provide ticketing services and deliver a new online ticketing platform for Brentford FC.
“Using the feedback, we received from our fans and from our staff, we reviewed a number of options in the market and we felt that Ticketmaster was best placed to provide the solution we needed.
“We believe that their platform will make it easier for our fans to buy tickets and manage their ticketing accounts. Their ticket exchange in particular was one feature that we were impressed with.
“It’s intuitive and easy to use – and this will be important for us as we look to maximise seat occupancy going forward.
“Season ticket renewals will be handled via our existing system and we will transition to Ticketmaster in the summer.”
Chris Gratton, Managing Director of Ticketmaster Sport, commented, “A successful Premier League club like Brentford FC will benefit from the technologies Ticketmaster can offer.
“Ticketmaster’s ticket exchange and 3D virtual venue are just two of the many facets of our technology which will elevate the fan experience for the Bees.
“We are excited about the start of this relationship and look forward to working with Brentford FC for years to come.”
