Brit Insurance has extended is ties with cricket after striking a sponsorship
deal to become an official partner for all of the English Test Match grounds.
The four-year agreement gives Brit Insurance category exclusivity at all the
Test match grounds and builds on the brand’s naming rights deal for The Oval – a
contract it recently extended until 2010.
The package gives Brit Insurance the right to perimeter branding and
tri-vision advertising at Test Matches and One-Day Internationals until the end
of the 2010 domestic season.
The Test Match Grounds included within the deal are Headingley, Edgbaston,
Old Trafford, Trent Bridge and Chester-le-Street.
The sponsorship agreement was brokered by WSM and Frontiers Group UK.
