To celebrate a Lions year and with the upcoming 6 Nations, a team of British & Irish legends, many ex Lions, will put their boots back on to take on former French players in aid of the Wooden Spoon and the Serge Betsen Academy & Provale.
For the fourth year running, a team of legends will face off all in the name of charity – with this year’s lineups commanded by captains Martin Corry and Serge Betsen.
Tickets for the match, on 22nd February at the Twickenham Stoop, cost £10 with all ticket profits going towards the captain’s respective charities.
So far the British & Irish legends squad is set to include Martin Corry, Jason Leonard, Josh Lewsey, Matt Perry, Shane Byrne, Ben Cohen, Rob Henderson, Colin Charvis, Doddie Weir and Craig Chalmers.
While the French legends team will include Serge Betsen, Christian Califano, Christian Labit, Franck Comba, Patrice Lagisquet, Thomas Castaignède, Emmanuel Menieu and Francis Ntamak.
Tickets for the ‘British & Irish Vs French Rugby Legends’ sponsored by ‘Just Retirement’ are available from www.quins.co.uk/tickets.
Last year a team of England legends took on the Irish at the Stoop last March.
