British Rowing has announced a new partnership with Kukri Sports, naming them as its official teamwear partner.
The collaboration aims to empower the rowing community by providing high-performance, sustainable sportswear for rowers at all levels, from grassroots to elite athletes.
Kukri Sports will supply custom-designed apparel and merchandise for rowers, clubs, and competitions nationwide, focusing on innovative, high-quality products to meet the specific demands of rowing.
Through this partnership, Kukri Sports will provide branded gear at major British Rowing events, including the British Rowing Club Championships and British Rowing Masters Championships.
GB Rowing Team athletes and the England Team will also wear Kukri sportswear in international competitions. The partnership seeks to strengthen community engagement and raise awareness of rowing across the country.

Brighton & Hove Albion has partnered with Govia Thameslink Railway, to support projects across Sussex.
The agreement has included travel provisions for fans attending home matches at the Amex Stadium and safety workshops for schoolchildren.
Supporters will continue to have Southern and Thameslink train travel included with their matchday tickets, allowing travel to and from the stadium.
The partnership has also provided safety workshops in schools and clubs, educating young people on railway safety.

Since August 2024, Govia Thameslink Railway has delivered sessions to 4,000 children in Sussex and Surrey, with further workshops planned.

The partnership aims to enhance the visitor experience and drive mutual growth in the entertainment sector.

The Welsh government becomes the first nation in the UK to announce its intention to ban greyhound racing
Deputy First Minister for Climate Change and Rural Affairs, Huw Irranca-Davies, confirmed the decision, citing public sentiment and cross-party support in the Senedd.
A public consultation revealed that almost two-thirds of respondents favoured a ban, and a petition against greyhound racing garnered over 35,000 signatures.
The ban is also supported by animal welfare organisations such as Blue Cross, Dogs Trust, and the RSPCA. An Implementation Group will be established to manage the phasing out of the sport, ensuring the welfare of dogs and supporting those involved in the industry.
The Welsh government aims for the ban to be implemented as soon as practically possible, learning from international examples like New Zealand.
Huw Irranca-Davies, said, “I’m pleased to share with the Senedd today that I have seen the strength of feeling on this, and I have listened.”
