British Triathlon has extended its long-term partnership with Swim Smooth to enhance the education of triathlon coaches across the UK.

This renewed agreement will give coaches access to the Swim Smooth GURU platform, offering resources on freestyle technique, training methods, and open-water skills.

The initiative will begin with a pilot project before being expanded to support British Triathlon’s coach development pathway.

Swim Smooth has been providing British Triathlon with coaching materials since 2010.

The Swim Smooth GURU platform will now integrate with Garmin and Apple Watch devices, allowing athletes and coaches to use their own devices to access Swim Smooth’s Stroke Insights feature.

This enables detailed stroke analysis, providing athletes with tailored guidance to improve their technique and performance.

Michelle Hayden, British Triathlon’s Coach Education Manager, said, “Swim Smooth has been a trusted partner of British Triathlon for over a decade, and we are excited to take this collaboration to the next level. The integration of the Swim Smooth GURU into our coach education framework will provide coaches with a more structured and interactive learning experience.”
