Founded by Toby Marriott and Jack Meacher, CD shares a wide range of content, from original series to vlogs, grassroots highlights to content collaborations with professional leagues and more. The company also operates as a digital agency for a number of clients, including Sixes Social Cricket and Betway SA20.

Marriott, commented, “Cricket District is built on the belief that all levels of the game should be celebrated. It doesn’t matter if you play at Lord’s or the village green, we’ve always strived to give a platform to the characters that make this such a special sport and tell the stories that matter to them.
“We are relentlessly positive and put our community at the heart of our content, building the channels that we would want to follow as fans. We feel like we’re only just getting started, and with a fantastic group of investors now involved, we’re ready to take Cricket District to the next level.”
Former England cricketer, Stuart Broad, said, “I believe in the power of stories to connect and inspire, and that’s what Cricket District’s aim is within the game of cricket.
“My experience working with Toby and Jack, initially for an episode of ‘Village v Pro’, then with the wider team at SA20, opened my eyes to the potential of this business. I have been a fan of their content for a while now, and it’s great to be involved as an investor. Investing in Cricket District is not just about supporting a unique sports media start-up; it’s about building a community that elevates the game and reaches new audiences around the world. I’m excited to get started.”
