NBA team the Brooklyn Nets have signed a multi-year partnership with sports marketing company Eleven Sports Media to launch a new programme for local businesses.
The deal establishes the Small Business Partner Program, a new initiative designed to give small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) across New York’s five boroughs access to marketing opportunities traditionally reserved for major brands.
Companies that join the programme will be able to connect with the Nets fanbase through gameday branding at the Barclays Centre, networking opportunities, and social media marketing.
The Brooklyn Nets become the fifth NBA team to partner with Eleven, which also works with the Milwaukee Bucks, LA Clippers, Sacramento Kings and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Matt Cairns, Founder & CEO at Eleven, said, “We’re incredibly proud to partner with the Brooklyn Nets and offer our Small Business Partnership model to a dynamic, fast-growing franchise. Brooklyn is one of the most exciting areas of the US, fanatical about basketball and with a vibrant community that is underpinned by proud local businesses.
“We are excited to be able to give those local businesses in Brooklyn and across the five boroughs the chance to connect even more meaningfully with the Nets fanbase. This program not only expands our growing presence in the NBA but also allows us to work with a globally recognised sports brand in the Brooklyn Nets who share our passion for supercharging local business.”
