This weekend will see Wembley Stadium connected by EE offer a select group of England fans a one-off butler service at Saturday’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Slovenia as part of the second phase of its smartphone app launch.

The campaign means that fans can apply through the Wembley smartphone app, developed in collaboration with stadium partner EE, for the chance to have their seats upgraded.

This weekend, to mark the launch of this feature, the winners will also have their very own butler on hand to deliver food and drinks to their seats.

Fans attending the fixture can enter the competition by downloading the Wembley app for the chance to win an upgrade to a ‘Gold Level’ seat. The prize also includes a delivery of 16-inch hot dogs and beverages during the game.

Spencer McHugh, director of brand at EE, said: ‘The Wembley app offers a unique way for fans to enhance their stadium experience and get the most out of their visit, whatever the event. The new ‘Upgrade your Seat’ functionality is our way of showing a handful of lucky fans the very best that Wembley Stadium connected by EE has to offer.’

The phase two launch of the Wembley app also includes ‘Event Day’ mode, offering stadium visitors a news feed with aggregated social media content and Wembley Radio.

‘Arch Cam’ also launches as part of this upgrade and allows fans to see the Wembley arch live in through their phone, lit up by 228 LED lights.

In 2015, fans will be able to interact with the arch via the app and see it react to in-stadium events in real-time. Users will also have the ability to send messages of support to the big screen.
