Sport and entertainment agency Doyen Global has signed Arsenal and England player Calum Chambers.

The agency, which also manages the likes of Becker, Beckham and Xavi will oversee the management of the player across all football and commercial matters.

The 20-year-old defender, who came up through the Southampton academy and made his Premier League debut at the age of 17, moved to Arsenal in July 2014 where he has made 36 appearances in the league and cup competitions.

On joining the agency, Chambers said, “I’m really excited to start working with Matt, Simon and everyone at Doyen Global.

“They have looked after some of the biggest names in sport and I’m sure they will help me achieve my ambitions on and off the pitch.

“I’m very happy with my first season at Arsenal and go into the summer full of confidence.”

Managing director and FA registered intermediary, Matt Kay added, “Calum is a fantastic addition to a prestigious group of talent at Doyen Global.

“He is a mature and intelligent young man and we are delighted to be working with him.

“We have already made great strides in Holland over the last few years through our partnership with Fulco van Kooperen of MuyManero and two of our players Stevie Bergwijn (PSV) and Calvin Verdonk (Feyenoord) have made their first team debuts this season.”

Chambers will represent England in June at the U21 European Championships in the Czech Republic.
