Canterbury Launches New Leinster Strip
Canterbury has launched its new strip for reigning Heineken Cup champions Leinster, designed specifically for the 2012/13 season, following an unveiling at the club’s home ground, the RDS.
This follows Canterbury’s launch of the new England Rugby kit just last week. Check out the video from the launch at Sport Industry TV.
The club commissioned Dublin based graffiti artist Maser to paint a vibrant mural on the team’s external changing room for the launch of the new strip. Additional design features include three stars above the Leinster crest to mark the club’s three Heineken Cup titles in the last four years.
Leo Cullen club captain said: ‘The three stars above the crest will really serve as a reminder of the strengths of Leinster as a club and will give us a massive boost in tough games against our European rivals. It’s a combination of talented players and camaraderie that has brought us those three titles and to be spurred on that extra bit will be invaluable when it really counts.’
