Canterbury Of Nz Opens UK Store
Sportswear brand Canterbury of New Zealand is opening its first European retail store in London this week as it looks to enter the UK market.
The flagship store is an integral part of the company’s global expansion strategy, which will see it take on other global sportswear competitors in Europe, USA and Japan.
Canterbury of New Zealand plans to open additional stores across the UK and Europe over the next three years.
Canterbury of New Zealand is already known in the northern hemisphere because of its rugby sponsorships in UK, Ireland and France, which include the Guinness Premiership champions London Wasps and the Magners League winners Leinster.
The brand, which is well established in New Zealand, Australia and South Africa, has recorded compound annual growth of 24% over the past three years.
