Canterbury has been announced as the new kit supplier to Bath Rugby until 2018, with the new strip to debut in September, when they take on Gloucester at the Memorial Ground in the inaugural West Country Challenge Cup.
The latest deal expands Canterbury’s presence in the sport, which already includes an official kit supply role with the likes of England, Ireland, Russia and Japan.
Chris Stephenson, Canterbury CEO, said: “We are excited to announce our three-year deal with Bath Rugby in their 150th anniversary year.
“By joining with Bath, a club steeped in rugby history and values, Canterbury demonstrates their commitment to the game and continued desire to partner with the very best teams in the world. We are delighted with this partnership and hope supporters look forward to our involvement with the Club.”
Tarquin McDonald, managing director of Bath Rugby, added: “Our 150th year is the perfect time to enter this partnership with a world-renowned brand such as Canterbury. Their name is synonymous with our sport and the range and quality of merchandise they will provide means there is much to be excited about for players and supporters alike.”
