Capgemini has become the official digital transformation partner of Six Nations Rugby in a five-year agreement running until 2029.
The partnership has covered the men’s and women’s Six Nations Championships, the Quilter Nations Series and the Summer Nations Series. It has aimed to support audience growth and engagement by using data and digital technologies to enhance the fan experience.
The 2025 Guinness Men’s Six Nations has been watched by nearly 130 million fans worldwide, a 6.3% increase compared to the previous year, highlighting the tournament’s continued global reach. In 2026, the Championship will open with its first Thursday night fixture, part of a schedule that will feature five rounds across February and March.
The Guinness Women’s Six Nations will return the same year, following the Women’s Rugby World Cup in 2025, as international women’s rugby continues to attract expanding audiences.
Capgemini has planned to apply AI and generative AI innovations to deliver deeper insights into matches, giving viewers improved data integration and analysis of key moments. Six Nations Rugby has set its focus on sustaining and growing its position as one of the most followed tournaments in global sport, with the new partnership intended to strengthen how rugby is presented to fans in the UK and internationally.
