Cardiff To Host 2008 Heineken Cup Final

Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium will host the 13th Heineken Cup final next May it
has been announced by the tournament organisers European Rugby Cup.

The decision to stage the match at the Millennium Stadium on the weekend of
the 24th-25th May marks the fifth time the European Cup final has been hosted in
Cardiff.

Tickets for the 2008 Heineken Cup final at the Millennium Stadium, which
hosted the first two finals in the tournament’s history, went on pre-sale this
week to fans who attended the previous two years’ finals.

The 13th Heineken Cup will kick-off next season on the weekend of 9th-11th
November, 2007 with London Wasps as defending champions.

The 2007 Heineken Cup final was staged at Twickenham.
