Carling Launches ‘for The Fans’ Giveaway

Premier League partner Carling has launched a new campaign giving fans the chance to win a season ticket for their favourite Premier League club.

The “For the fans” giveaway will offer Carling drinkers the chance to attend every home game of the season with a friend of their choice.

Winners will be chosen from a Facebook competition, running until 7th August, which invites entrants to comment on a post, nominating their “footy mate” for the 2018-19 season.

Carling, which rejoined the Premier League’s commercial programme in 2016-17, under the rightholder’s new ‘clean brand’ strategy, is promising greater activation than ever before this season.

The Official Beer’s ‘For the Fans’ campaign will see match-day squads hit venues around the country to “elevate the pub viewing experience.”

For the first time, pub landlords will be offered the opportunity to present the Carling Goal of the Month Award, while the brand’s ‘They Score, You Score’ initiative will also return for the season.

Miranda Osborne, Carling brand director, said: “The Premier League is one of the biggest sporting occasions in the world and we want Carling drinkers to feel the full benefit of our official partnership this season.”

Carling previously served as title partner of the Carling Premiership from 1993 up until the 2001 season.
