Wasps has confirmed a new deal with Causeway Technologies that will see the software provider re-join the team as the main partner of the Wasps Academy.

The partnership sees Causeway Technologies, former partners of Wasps, return to support the Academy in what the club describes as a ‘significant’ multi-year deal.

As part of the deal, the brand will lend significant weight to the funding of the Wasps Academy, which has produced a number of top-level players in recent years including the likes of Christian Wade, Elliot Daly and Sam Jones.

On the renewed relationship, commercial director of the club, Luke Organ, said: ‘This partnership with Causeway Technologies is another example of a previous partner returning to the Club. We are very pleased that they believe in the hard work and positive progress that has been made by the Club and we are proud to welcome Causeway back on board.’

Academy Manager Matt Davies commented: ‘We are delighted to have a company like Causeway behind our Academy system, which has contributed heavily to the Wasps first team over the last few seasons. We hope that, with their support, our age groups and talented Senior Academy players will flourish on and off the pitch and the Wasps Academy will be able to cement itself as a top Academy structure that future talent want to be part of.’

Phil Brown, CEO of Causeway Technologies added: ‘We’re delighted to return to Wasps as the Main Partner of the Wasps Academy. It has impressed us how much work has been put in to turn things around in recent years both on and off the pitch, and is something we are really pleased to be able to support.’

‘The success of the Wasps Academy in recent years has been clear for everyone to see, producing a long line of players who have gone on to play for the first team and, with our support, we hope to see the programme continue to go from strength to strength.’
