Mark Cavendish is back on the road to recovery following his shoulder injury during the opening stages of the Tour de France earlier this month and, as well as stepping up his rehab programme, has already started working with his Omega Pharma – Quick-Step team to revise his race schedule for the remainder of the season.

The ‘Manx Missile’ crashed as he approached the sprint on Stage One of the 2014 Tour de France and subsequently suffered a rupture to his AC joint in his shoulder.

Meanwhile, CVNDSH and Vibe Audio have been developing an exclusive limited edition premium Bluetooth headphone since the start of 2014, originally due to be launched after the Tour de France.

Mark’s withdrawal from the Tour, however, means he now has an intensive rehab programme that requires increasingly larger amounts of time on the stationary turbo trainer.

As a result, CVNDSH and Vibe Audio have announced that they will be releasing 500 Limited Edition headphones as he steps up his recovery, with Cavendish himself using them already on the recovery bike.

Mark Cavendish MBE said: ‘I was devastated to withdraw from this year’s Tour de France but now I am focused on coming back stronger and faster. I have known the guys at Vibe Audio for over 6 months, and when they offered to launch the limited edition CVNDSH Fli-Over earlier than planned to help with my rehab I knew it was something I wanted to do. It’s been a tough few weeks but I can’t wait to be back with the OPQS guys and race again.’

Carl Venables, CEO, Vibe Audio added: ‘We’re delighted to work with Mark Cavendish and his CVNDSH brand to help such an iconic British sportsman through his rehabilitation. We’re thrilled to play a small part in getting Mark through his rehab and back on his bike to dominate sprint stages again. We look forward to watching our new exciting relationship with CVNDSH flourish moving forward.’

CVNDSH and Vibe Audio are unveiling 500 Limited Edition headphones which will be available at www.cvndsh.com
