Celtic Manor Hires Four To Push 2010

Four Sports, Arts & Sponsorship has been appointed by the Celtic Manor Resort in South Wales, host venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup, to run a pan-European communications campaign in the build-up to the event. 


Four will be responsible for driving media coverage for the resort across European markets, including Ireland, Germany, France, Netherlands and Sweden, where interest in the Ryder Cup is strongest.  

The campaign aims to drive visitor numbers throughout 2010, and build on Celtic Manor’s profile as an international sport venue and leisure destination.
 
The new remit extends Celtic Manor’s five-year relationship with Four.

Celtic Manor has invested more than £20 million in course redevelopment and supporting infrastructure to ensure it is well placed to stage the biennial match between Europe and the United States.
 
Celtic Manor has also stepped up its global reach by recruiting Buffalo Communications in the United States, part of the Billy Casper Golf group, to lead a public relations campaign in North America.
