Chelsea Football Club has teamed up with Uber to deliver the club’s new kits for the 2015-16 season directly to the doorstep of fans around the world, free of charge.
The kits, unveiled by Chelsea FC on Thursday, will be exclusively available for lucky Uber riders five days before they go on sale to the public next week.
Starting at 12 noon today (17th July) in South Africa, the kits will be available for delivery in eight cities around the world, including Los Angeles, New York City, Rio De Janeiro, Cape Town, Moscow, Mumbai, Shanghai and Toyko.
Chelsea managing director Christian Purslow said: “We are delighted to be collaborating with such a global and innovative company as Uber to help deliver our new kit to Chelsea fans around the world. Alongside our partners adidas and Yokohama, we are very proud of our new kit, and hope this special and unique opportunity will delight Uber riders around the world in the coming days.”

International fans of the club in these cities can download the Uber app, enter the city’s promo code, request the ‘Chelsea’ option, and a limited few will have a Chelsea shirt within minutes.
