Chelsea have named Linglong Tire as the club’s global tire partner in a multi-year agreement.

As part of the deal, Linglong has supplied tyres for the Chelsea men’s team bus. The collaboration will also include content and interactions between the brand and the club’s star players.

Linglong will also feature in pitch side advertising with the men’s and women’s teams at Stamford Bridge.

The partnership will allow the Chinese tyre manufacturer to expand its international presence alongside a renowned football brand.

The company has exported its products to 173 countries across Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Africa.

Casper Stylsvig, Chief Revenue Officer at Chelsea, said, “We look forward to contributing to Linglong’s global growth plans and collaborating with a respected Chinese brand to grow our footprint in China.”

Canterbury has unveiled the new Ireland rugby shirts for the 2024/25 season.

The shirts, along with a wide range of training and supporter apparel, have been made available for purchase through Intersport Elverys stores, with a starting price of £60.

The design has been inspired by Ireland’s natural landscapes, featuring tributes to Benbulben, the Giants Causeway, and the Cliffs of Moher. Canterbury has opted for a deeper ‘emerald green’ for the jerseys, with cadmium green accents on the shoulders representing Ireland’s mineral formations, while white panelling recalls the 2005/06 jersey, echoing fan preferences.

Simon Rowe, SVP Sports Marketing at Canterbury said, “The 2024/25 Ireland kit, designed by Canterbury, in collaboration with the IRFU, pays tribute to the unique beauty of the Irish landscape.

“The textures of the Emerald Isle are intricately woven throughout the jersey, showcasing the creative innovation of the teams involved.”
