Chelsea Football Club has revealed its home kit for the upcoming 2024/25 football season in a new campaign starring Cole Palmer, Sam Kerr and Moises Ciaceda.

Designed by apparel partner Nike, the shirt’s vibrant colour is borrowed from the blue part of a flame and represents ‘a burning passion to unite the entire club behind a shared ambition to succeed on and off the pitch’.

The abstract swirl pattern is supposed to represent London as a ‘melting pot’ of cultures, while the orange accent is a nod to Chelsea’s academy teams.

Following the conclusion of the club’s deal with Infinite Athlete, for the second year in a row the Premier League team has launched its home kit without the presence of a front-of-shirt sponsor.

The campaign that accompanies the launch, titled ‘We Burn Blue’, has been created by Uncommon Creative Studio with the stills and film shot and directed by Thomas Van Kristen. The soundtrack is produced by London-based electronic artist Joy Orbison.

The film campaign also introduces a new ‘CFC LDN’ motif which will feature on marketing material throughout the upcoming season.

Speaking to Creative Review, Nils Leonard, co-founder at Uncommon Creative Studio, said, “This thinking encapsulates the club and players sentiment ahead of the new season, as they bring a new energy and new fire to Stamford Bridge. This is only just the beginning — this is about partnering with the fans, players and club to create the brand Chelsea has always deserved, to bring the iconic London club to the world.”
