Clichy Adds To Puma Portfolio

Puma has announced its new partnership contract with the French national football player Gaël Clichy, with the Manchester City left back wearing the current evoSPEED 1FG boots for the first time in Manchester City’s UEFA Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday, 3rd October. 

Clichy is an addition to Puma’s growing global sports marketing portfolio, and will become one of the main assets in the sportlifestyle brand’s football communication.

The French International joins Sergio Aguero, Falcao, Yaya Touré, Mario Gomez, Olivier Giroud, Ibrahim Afellay and many other international players to play in Puma evoSPEED boots.    

Gaël Clichy commented: ‘I am glad to start this new partnership with Puma. It is an exciting brand and my new boots are very comfortable, so I am confident to perform well wearing them during the upcoming season. With Yaya Touré and Sergio Aguero, two of my Manchester City team mates recently signing with Puma as well, and I am thrilled to be part of the Puma family.’
