Absolute Radio, Club Wembley and The Prince’s Trust are set to stage a series of live Rock ‘N’ Roll Football ‘Lads’ Night In’ events at Wembley Stadium after a trial event earlier this year raised thousands of pounds for The Prince’s Trust.

The November ‘Lads’ Night In’ will see a new format for the live event, with football fans given the chance to talk tactics with a panel made up of Absolute Radio’s lead football broadcasters Ian Wright, Russ Williams and Jim Proudfoot as well as show contributor and comedian, Ian Stone.

They will be joined by Prince’s Trust Ambassador and Spurs and England legend Gary Mabbutt for a Q&A session, before settling in to watch the Champions League clash between Juventus v Chelsea.

Set against the backdrop of Wembley Stadium, the Rock ‘N’ Roll Football Saturday show will be broadcast to an exclusive audience of 150 people including Club Wembley members, Prince’s Trust supporters and Absolute Radio competition winners.

There will also be a traditional auction of exclusive football items, with funds raised for The Prince’s Trust going towards helping disadvantaged young people across the UK.

Through its partnership with the Premier League and Professional Footballers Association, The Prince’s Trust has helped over 20,000 young people through football since 1997, working with over 65 Premier League and Football League Clubs to deliver a range of programmes that have helped three in four young people in to work, training or education.

The Absolute Radio Rock ‘N’ Roll Football ‘Lads Night In’, in support of The Prince’s Trust with Club Wembley will take place on Tuesday 20th November 2012, with the evening filmed and recorded for www.absoluteradio.co.uk

The first Absolute Radio Rock ‘N’ Roll Football ‘Lads Night In’ with Club Wembley took place earlier this year featuring Arsenal v Newcastle.

Cat Macdonald, Absolute Radio communications director , said: ‘It was our ambition to build a live event model of our Rock ‘N’ Roll Football offering, which also met the objective of raising funds for The Prince’s Trust, who help thousands of young people by inspiring them through a sport they are passionate about. Club Wembley and Rock ‘N’ Roll football’s brand values are a natural fit and it’s very satisfying to see this event grow.’

Jane Baker, head of Club Wembley Marketing added: ‘The Absolute Radio ‘Lads Night In’ offers Club Wembley members a unique, once in a lifetime football experience.’
