ClubApp has announced a multi-year partnership with Irish golfer and three-time Major champion, Padraig Harrington.

As an ambassador for ClubApp, live scoring platform for clubs of all sizes, Harrington will be supporting the brand through various campaigns and digital media initiatives.

Harrington won the 2007 and 2008 Open Championships, quickly followed by the 2008 PGA Championship, in a 13-month period. In addition, he has been an integral part of the victorious European Ryder Cup team with a total of six appearances and has recorded 30 other victories around the world, including the 2007 Irish Open, when he became the first Irishman to win his national championship in 25 years.

ClubApp co-founder, Barry Nestor, said: “Padraig is a household name throughout the golfing world. Whilst his record speaks for itself, he has many outstanding personal attributes that we are keen to be associated with.”

Fellow co-founder Greg Coleman added: “We are very pleased to be working with Padraig and are excited to establish a long term association with a very influential partner.”

Commenting on the partnership, Harrington commented: “ClubApp is an exciting concept which enables users to easily follow their teams on their phone. As I travel around the world ClubApp allows me to stay connected to sports clubs I’m interested in. I personally look forward to following my son’s games and Stackstown Golf Club’s various matches using ClubApp. I’m extremely pleased to partner with ClubApp and look forward to seeing the number of Sports Clubs using ClubApp grow around the world.”
