Conference Sponsor Appoints Bernstein
Title sponsor of the Football Conference, Vanarama, has announced the appointment of David Bernstein as its new group chairman.
The former chairman of the Football Association will support Vanarama’s management team, with key focus on helping the brand make the most of the opportunities presented to the sector as a result of regulatory changes by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) and a boom in demand.
Having rebranded in 2013 and moved to TV and radio advertising, and sponsorship, Vanarama has already seen over 120% growth in the last year.
Bernstein, who has also been chairman at Manchester City, said: ‘I am thrilled and excited to join a business that has achieved so much in such a short space of time, has such impressive growth plans and a strategy that sees them well placed to go from strength to strength.’
