Coollang, a technology company specialising in sports motion capturing devices, has unveiled a range of smart clothing.
The range includes a sports bra and running suit which are embedded with sensors that the company says can deliver heart rate data and also recognise motion. With the sensors, it will be able to tell if you’re doing push-ups or crunches.
Coollang also claims it will analyse the external environment and monitor temperature, air quality and humidity.
Prices for the clothing are yet to be announced, but it’s reported to be cheaper than other fitness-focused smart garment from the likes of Athos, Hexoskin and OmSignal.
The company is also updating its baseball sports sensors and introducing a new archery system, with the latter able to record data including the direction of the arrow and monitor physiological changes in the the archer.

For the tennis, badminton and baseball trackers, the collection of gyroscope and accelerometer sensors are set inside the base of the racquet or the bottom of a baseball bat. They are then able to detect movement and deliver information in real time, which can be stored on the companion app.
