Andy Coulson and Henry Chappell have partnered to launch a new corporate communications consultancy.
Coulson and Chappell have co-founded Coulson Chappell, offering strategic communication and corporate advice to companies and organisations in sport and other industries.
Andy Coulson is a former Conservative Party and Downing Street director of communication and he was editor of News of the World from 2003 – 2007.
Coulson was also jailed for 18 months in 2014 for his part in the phone hacking that ultimately brought down the News of the World.
Henry Chappell is the founder and chief executive of Pitch, an independently owned sports PR and marketing company. Pitch has been shortlisted as Agency of the Year at the BT Sport Industry Awards three times in the past four years.
Andy Coulson said: “I’ve always wanted to establish and grow my own company and in Henry I have the perfect business partner. From our combined experience Coulson Chappell can offer a unique perspective to clients looking for clear, discreet and effective strategic advice.”
Henry Chappell added: “With Andy’s extensive experience across media and politics, and a growing demand from CEO’s, companies and organisations for strategic corporate and communications advice, we feel there is a real opportunity to establish a new agency in the marketplace.”
