DAZN Enters The Sports Betting Landscape

Sports media company DAZN has announced a new strategic partnership with Pragmatic Group, a leading technology and content provider for the betting and gaming industry.

The new partnership between the two companies will see the creation of a new betting service under the DAZN BET brand, which will be headquartered in Gibraltar.

According to a statement, DAZN Bet will be the ‘world’s first service that combines OTT live sports viewing and betting, creating a more engaging and interactive experience for fans’ and is expected to soft launch as beta produce at the start of the new European football season.

Described as the ‘future of the casual betting landscape’, the exclusive, multi-year agreement will see London-headquarter DAZN leveraging its customer base, while Pragmatic Group will provide the underlying platform and content and be responsible for the ongoing product development.
