DAZN has acquired exclusive global broadcast rights to the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, in a reported $1bn (£787m) deal.
Under the agreement, the London-headquartered media company will air all 63 matches from the competition, which will be free to view on its streaming platform.
DAZN will also have the option to sublicense local free-to-air (FTA) rights to linear networks for next year’s competition.

The revamped Club World Cup will comprise 32 clubs, including 12 European teams, marking an increase from seven in previous years.
The Premier League’s Manchester City and Chelsea will take part in the tournament, after winning the UEFA Champions League in 2023 and 2021 respectively.

The competition will also shift from an annual to quadrennial format from 2025.
Next year’s edition of the cup will be staged across 12 venues throughout the US from 15th June to 13th July.
DAZN will broadcast the draw for the Club World Cup on 5th December.
The deal sees the streaming giant bolster its football partnership stable, which includes domestic Bundesliga and Ligue 1 rights, as well as rights to LaLiga in Italy and Portugal, and global rights to the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
