Disney+ has secured exclusive UK broadcast rights to the UEFA Women’s Champions League from the 2025/26 season in a five-year deal covering all 75 matches.
The agreement will see the streaming platform broadcast the competition in full across the UK from next season.
The new format will begin with an 18-team league phase, followed by a knockout round.
The rights had previously been held by DAZN for European distribution, with TNT Sports showing selected matches in the UK over the past four seasons.
This deal marks the first time Disney+ has held live rights to a major UEFA football competition in the UK.
The Women’s Champions League has continued to grow in visibility and attendance, with Arsenal set to face Barcelona in the 2024/25 final on Saturday in Lisbon. The competition’s expansion aligns with UEFA’s wider strategy to increase commercial value and reach for the women’s game.
In recent months, streaming platforms have continued to invest in live sports content, with Netflix having secured the U.S. rights to the 2027 and 2031 FIFA Women’s World Cups.
