Unilever’s Dove Men+Care has partnered with the Rugby World Cup 2015 becoming an official tournament supplier.
The agreement will see over 5,000 deodorants and shower gels offered to players from all participating teams across the duration of the tournament.
Tickets for both the pool and knock out stages of the Rugby World Cup 2015 will be made available to Dove Men+Care customers through competitions in all major retailers and social media, forming part of the brand’s wider #scrumtogether campaign.
Commenting on the partnership, Brett Gosper, chief executive, World Rugby, said:”The appointment of another brand sector leader with a passion for rugby to our record-breaking commercial programme is great news for the sport and further underscores the strength of the Rugby World Cup brand in the global sponsorship marketplace.
“With a little over 100 days to go until England 2015 kicks off, I am confident of a very special, biggest and indeed best-ever Rugby World Cup that will reach, engage and inspire more audiences than any previous edition.”
Callum Galloway, brand manager, Dove Men+Care, added: “The addition of this prestigious rugby event to our sponsorship portfolio is extremely exciting for both Dove Men+Care and Unilever as a whole.
“Having established our commitment to rugby over the last few years, a partnership with Rugby World Cup 2015 is a natural extension of our existing relationships with the home unions and one which will see a 360 brand communication campaign throughout the tournament.”
