Manchester United prodigy Adnan Januzaj has joined the recently formed Doyen Group in an exclusive long-term partnership with the agency who will oversee the management of the player across all commercial activity, PR and Digital Strategy.
The 19 year-old was recently named as the best teenager in European football by Italian newspaper Gazetta dello Sport following his breakthrough season with the current Premier League champions.
Adnan Januzaj said: ‘The next years in my career are going to be hugely important and it’s crucial to have the right people around me who will help guide me and manage my career professionally. Doyen’s experience is second to none and I look forward to having them as part of my team.’
Adnan hit the headlines in October, scoring twice, as Manchester United came from behind to claim a 2-1 victory against Sunderland. He has since gone on to make 23 appearances so far this season.
Simon Oliveira, managing director of Doyen Global added: ‘Adnan is not only a prodigious talent, he also has a fantastic attitude which will take him to the very top of the game. We look forward to working with him and being part of an exciting future that lies ahead.’
Doyen Global was launched in April 2013 by Simon Oliveira and Matthew Kay, two former senior executives from Creative Artists Agency and XIX Entertainment.
Their first move was an image rights partnership with Brazilian star, Neymar. Since then the company has moved gone on to build a diverse portfolio from Exec Producing Box Office hit, ‘Class of 92’ to partnering with tennis legend, Boris Becker and Spanish football star Xavi amongst others.
