Video: DP World Tour Pros Take On Stinger Challenge

Ahead of the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open, the DP World Tour challenged every player in the field to hit a miniature version of a DP World shipping container from 70 yards with a stinger shot.

The video is the latest in a series of challenges and stunts put on by the European men’s professional golf tour and its prolific content team.

Last year, PGA professional golfer Luke Willett teamed up with the DP World Tour to set the world record for the fastest 9-hole round of golf by an individual.

Emirati logistics company DP World became the official title partner of the competition ahead of the 2022 season and also holds various partnerships in cricket and Formula 1.

Title sponsored by car manufacturer Genesis, the luxury vehicle brand of Hyundai, this year’s Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club carried an overall prize pot of $9m (£7m) and was won by Robert MacIntyre.

In winning the Scottish Open, MacIntyre became only the second Scot to win twice in one PGA Tour season.
