Golf’s DP World Tour has announced global talent solutions provider Velocity Global as an official partner.
The multi-year agreement names Velocity Global as the official global work platform of the DP World Tour.
As part of the deal, Velocity Global will receive a range of marketing opportunities to grow its brand, including on-course signage and live television branding during events, as well as bespoke social media content and access to tournament hospitality services.
The company will also work with the Tour to develop a multi-channel content series to showcase players and share their ‘Work from Anywhere’ story.
Velocity Global will also be granted elevated partnership status at the BMW PGA Championship, the DP World Tour Championship and the ISPS Handa World Invitational.
The DP World Tour will use Velocity Global’s services to help its employees work anywhere in the world.
Max Hamilton, Commercial Director for the European Tour group, said, “The DP World Tour has a truly global footprint, with 45 tournaments across 25 countries in our 2022 schedule – and in Velocity Global, we have found a partner who matches that globality. As an ever-expanding tour, their Global Work Platform will support our business operations for DP World Tour personnel working abroad.”
Velocity Global is now a partner of the four leading tours in the men’s and women’s professional game, with the company also holding agreements with the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour.
The European Tour signed a title sponsor deal with DP World back in November, with the agreement coming into effect for the 2022 season.
