Amayse, a 3D signage for sporting events provider, has launched a new and patented technology that allows two different images to be displayed to different camera angles from the same space.

It allows rights holders to commercialise the same asset twice or give additional value to existing sponsors, doubling the TV exposure by also branding the reverse of the 2VIEW CAMCARPETS.

The 2VIEW CAMCARPETS, which are suited to cricket and football, are made of a lightweight, foam structured material with a heavy backing which includes an anti-slip layer.

They are produced in-house by Amayse, digitally printed and cut using a modified material cutter with small holes in the 2VIEW CAMCARPETS to allow for drainage.

2VIEW CAMCARPETS have been used by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) at the 2016 NatWest T20 Blast Finals Day at Edgbaston and by Bundesliga team, Vfl Wolfsburg.

The new product was on display for England v Spain at Wembley last week, with four 2VIEW CAMCARPETS positioned behind the goal lines, two nearside and two farside. This enabled The FA to display different sponsor images on the UK and international feeds.

Greg Craigen, managing director, Amayse said: “2VIEW CAMCARPETS are just the latest innovation from Amayse.  We are the world leader in 3D Signage for televised sports events and, whilst we are building innovations in virtual branding too, we believe there is still room to develop the technology available for on-pitch branding. 2VIEW CAMCARPETS is a great example of that.”
