Dubai Duty Free Re-signs Ivanovic & Wozniacki

Caroline Wozniacki and Ana Ivanovic have renewed personal endorsement deals with Dubai Duty Free for another year, with the world number five and six tennis players continuing as global ambassadors for the brand.

The pair will front a Dubai Duty Free-backed ‘Behind the Ropes’ series, providing a behind the scenes look at the WTA Tour.

As part of the deals the Dane and the Serb will make appearances at events sponsored by Dubai Duty Free, which in the past have included the Dubai International Film Festival, Newbury Racecourse for the Dubai Duty Free-sponsored spring meeting, the Dubai Airshow Gala and the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby.

Dubai Duty Free first became a sponsor of the WTA Tour in 2004.

Ivanovic commented: “I am thrilled to continue my partnership with such a wonderful brand – we are now in our fourth year together.”

“I like to enjoy and explore each city that I travel to and I’ve had the opportunity to learn about the culture and experience some amazing events as an ambassador,” added Wozniacki.

Dubai Duty Free executive vice chairman Colm McLoughlin, added: “Caroline and Ana are both supreme professionals and are excellent ambassadors both for women’s tennis and for Dubai Duty Free.”

As well as the tournament it has backed since 2004, Dubai Duty Free has, for the last three years, been the sponsor of the WTA’s year-end World Number One awards, and the annual pre-Wimbledon party.
