‘duel In The Pool’ Event A Sell-out

British Swimming has announced that its upcoming ‘British Gas Duel in the Pool’ international team event to be held at the Manchester Aquatic Centre has officially sold out.

The event sees the combined forces of a Great Britain, Italy and Germany come together, under the team title of E-Stars, in a head-to-head battle with a US representative team including record-breaking multi-Olympic champion Michael Phelps.
 
The E-Stars comprises 14 British, 14 Italian and eight German swimmers and will take on the US over two days of competition on 18th and 19th December.
 
The BBC has signed up to provide live TV coverage of the competition which is headline sponsored by British Gas, principle partner of British Swimming.
 
Both teams will include up to 18 men and 18 women with British Swimming, Germany and Italy sending a combined team for the short course (25m) meet.
