The England & Wales Cricket Board has confirmed that T.M. Lewin has extended its current contract for a further three years, with the London-based men’s clothing brand TM Lewin set to continue as the ECB’s official formalwear supplier and licensee.

As part of the deal, England’s men’s and women’s teams will be supplied with new bespoke suits for the summer of 2014, which will be made available at 100 TM Lewin stores throughout the UK and online. It will also produce a limited edition range of accessories aimed at fans, including cufflinks and ties.

David Collier, the chief executive of the ECB, said of the deal: ‘It is important that our England teams look the part off the field, as well as on it – and TM Lewin’s England Cricket products are popular with players and fans alike. This deal represents excellent value for the ECB, and it is particularly pleasing when partners renew for another term.’

Geoff Quinn, the chief executive of TM Lewin, added: ‘We’re very happy to be maintaining our association with the ECB for another year and proud to dress both England men’s and women’s cricket teams.’

‘We continue to receive lots of positive comments from cricket fans about the suits and outfits we supply the teams, and will continue to produce product of the highest quality that reflects our ongoing support and enthusiasm for English cricket.’

TM Lewin, which first partnered with the ECB in 2010, also has a formalwear partnership in place with the Irish Football Association.

England began the second test of the Ashes Down Under last night, fighting back in Adelaide after an ominous Australian start with the bat, with the hosts ending the first day on 273-5.
