Edox Strikes World Rally Sponsorship

Swiss watch brand Edox has struck a sponsorship deal to become the official timing partner of the World Rally Championship.


The three-and-a-half year agreement made with ISC, the exclusive worldwide media and commercial rights holder for the WRC, will see Edox support the championship with a precision timing and results solution.


The deal will also provide Edox with opportunities to receive global brand exposure through a variety of sources. These will include on-screen graphics and promote the Edox brand alongside the championship – billed as ‘an epic motorsport adventure bringing you the world’s greatest drivers’.


In 2008 WRC was covered by 188 countries via 228 broadcasters, with a total audience of over 633m plus 12m visitors to wrc.com. 2009 will see a total of 12 rallies staged across the world including France, Spain, Italy, Japan and the UK.
