The Engine Group has announced it has restructured into four new business units, in order to “ensure Engine is ideally placed to service client needs in 2017 and beyond.”
The group will now operate under four units, Engine Creative and Content; Engine PR and Activation; Engine Digital Transformation, Data and Insight; and Engine media. The individual agency and consultancy brand names, such as Mischief and Synergy, will remain the same.
Each business unit will be led by a member of the Engine senior leadership team. Matt Edwards, CEO of WCRS and DF London will now oversee Engine Creative and Content, which new unit includes WCRS, DF London, Trailer park and NuFu, while Simon Peck will continue as group managing director of Engine, overseeing Engine PR and Activation, with agencies MHP, Mischief, Slice and Synergy.
Emma Robertson, chief executive of Transform, will head up Engine Digital Transformation, Data and Insight which, alongside Transform, will bring PAA, Fuel and ORC into the fold. Finally, the group’s chief strategy officer Pete Edwards will oversee Engine Media.
