England Hockey Signs Club & League Tech Providers
England Hockey has launched a new partnership scheme with a range of club and/or league technology providers. The scheme’s launch includes the development of an integration hub for data at England Hockey delivered by technology partners Ajilon and Inforexx. The hub provides the ability for leagues and clubs to use different platforms but still be able to share important data.
The aim is to help make club and league administrators lives easier by ensuring key information such fixtures, results and league tables are available across systems rather than restricted to one. Over time this should reduce the need for clubs to duplicate effort by entering information multiple times.
Four partners have initially joined the scheme as approved providers including, ClubBuzz, Pitchero, Sport Lomo, Teamer (who acquired Fixtures Live in 2017).
Sarah Sedgwick from ClubBuzz said: “We are delighted to have been selected as an approved provider of club and league management systems for England Hockey. We very much see our role as supporting clubs in managing their data simply and securely and look forward to the added value this new partnership affords.
“Having been successfully working together for the last few months we are enthused by the passion and focus that England Hockey bring to the arena and are excited about showcasing our services to the hockey world and welcoming more clubs into our own hockey family.”
Seamus Kyne from Sport Lomo added: “SportLoMo are delighted to have been selected by England Hockey to be the primary provider of Competition and League Management software. All Tier 1 and Tier 2 national competitions are now managed on the SportLoMo platform, including all team registrations, competition management, electronic team sheets and player stats.
“SportLoMo are delighted to be involved in this project to making the data managed on our platform available to clubs and regional organisations throughout the England Hockey network.
“SportLoMo are a leading software provider for competition management, umpire management, member registration software and look forward to working with regional bodies and clubs throughout England Hockey as an approved supplier over the coming years.”
