England Rugby have announced a long-term, multi-year partnership with Castore, which sees the British sportswear brand become their official technical kit partner.

Castore will supply all technical playing kit, training, and travel wear for England Rugby’s men’s and women’s teams. The deal also includes kit for coaches and staff departments.

The partnership begins ahead of the Women’s Rugby World Cup being hosted in England this summer. Castore already supplies kit to several Premiership Women’s Rugby and Premiership Rugby clubs, including Harlequins who host games at Allianz Stadium.

Players expected to wear the new kit include Maro Itoje, Ellis Genge, Zoe Aldcroft, Alex Matthews, Lilli Ives Campion, and Henry Pollock. Harlequins wing Cadan Murley, alongside Red Roses players Maddie Feaunati and Tatyana Heard, will become Castore brand ambassadors as part of the agreement.

The first items from the new Castore range will be available in May, with more kit launching over the summer.

Bill Sweeney, Rugby Football Union CEO, said, “Castore will kit out players and fans alike in our iconic England shirt. It’s an exciting time for English rugby and we know how much it means for all our players to put on an England shirt – they will wear the new Castore kit with pride.

We look forward to working with Castore over the coming years and welcome them to the England Rugby family as a much valued partner.”
