England Squash has announced a multi-year partnership with adidas, making the global sportswear brand its Official Clothing and Shoe Partner.
The two-year deal will see adidas supply match kit and training wear to England’s junior and senior national teams, as well as high performance coaches.
Players in the England Squash talent pathway programme will also have the opportunity to purchase exclusive training gear. Adidas will also provide teamwear and refereeing clothing for the Optasia Squash Super League.
The adidas England Squash kit is set to debut at the Five Nations in April, showcasing the brand’s iconic three-stripe designs.
The senior kit will feature a tribute to England’s World Team titles, with five stars on the men’s design and seven on the women’s.
England Squash and adidas share a history dating back to the 1970s, when adidas sponsored players like Jonah Barrington and the England team.
Joey Barrington, Membership and Commercial Manager at England Squash, said, “As a globally recognised leader in sportswear innovation, we’re thrilled to welcome adidas as our official clothing and shoe partner. Squash is a fast-paced, high-intensity game that demands the best in performance apparel, and adidas’s cutting-edge sportswear technology will help ensure our top players can perform at their peak while looking and feeling their best.”
Richard Mantell, Director at Specialist Sports, said, “Specialist Sports is delighted to be supplying adidas teamwear and footwear for this exciting new partnership with England Squash. With innovative technologies designed to enhance performance, we look forward to supporting athletes both on and off the court.”
