UEFA Europa League partner Enterprise Rent-A-Car has revealed details of its new-season campaign, which will see football fans introduce top players to the experience of their journey to the game.
The car rental brand, which signed a three-year extension to its UEFA Europa League partnership this year, has teamed up with former star European players Robert Pires, Michael Ballack and Freddie Kanoute for the ‘Legendary Journeys’ campaign, which will launch during the Group Stages of the competition.
The initiative will see four fans selected from across Europe and given the chance to take a playing “legend” on a journey from their home to the stadium, visiting the location and people they typically encounter on the way.
Jim Stoeppler, VP, European brand marketing at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, explained: “Having renewed our partnership with the UEFA Europa League for a further three years, we want to build on the success of the past by creating a campaign which continues to demonstrate our commitment to providing excellent customer service and further grow the Enterprise brand across EMEA, which now covers more than 40 countries and 1,200 locations.
“Our ‘Legendary Journeys’ campaign will deliver new and unforgettable experiences for football fans around the world in exciting ways. From European football legends joining travelling fans, to providing incredible VIP Match Day Experiences, this campaign will impact every part of a football fans match day journey”.
The chosen fans will also receive a VIP Match Day Experience for them and a friend at a UEFA Europa League match, which includes a pitch side tour before the game, VIP hospitality and a seat at the post-match press conference with both managers.
