FA Cup title sponsor E.ON has switched its £10m advertising agency account from
RKCR/Y&R to TBWA/London without a pitch following a disagreement over the
future creative strategy for the brand.

RKCR/Y&R, which had held the business since 2003 and created the initial
FA Cup adverts for this season’s competition, ceased working on the account at
the turn of the year over a difference of opinion over the rebranding of
Powergen into the main E.ON parent brand.

TBWA/London will now pick up the account with a view to building on the
initial FA Cup adverts as the competition builds to its climax in May.
